Course Description: |

This WebCT course,
intended for parents, teachers, home schoolers, coordinators and
supervisors of GT learners, is activity-based and designed to be
completed on an individual basis. The course will familiarize
students with curricula for GT Learners through identification of
appropriate programs and resources as well as the adaptation of
traditional content areas. Efforts will be directed toward the
completion of a notebook of curricula information and resources that
the students may wish to reference in future work with GT learners.
Studies will include reading text chapters and surfing the web in
search of additional information. Student will be asked to
make contributions to a bulletin board discussion. The final
examination will take the form of a reflective essay.

On-line discussions may be required during this course. The LC Mail account and BbCE course mail are the only accounts that will be used to contact students regarding online courses.
