Dr. Hornby is an Associate Professor of Biology for the Natural Sciences division at LCSC. He received his B.A. in Biology at Carroll College (Helena, MT) in 1998 and earned his Ph.D. in Microbial Physiology and Medical Mycology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2003. He began teaching at Lewis-Clark State College in 2003 and teaches a variety of lower and upper division courses in Natural Sciences, including Microbiology, Genetics, Cell and Molecular Biology, Immunology, and Introductory Biology. In addition to teaching, he serves as the campus pre-health professions advisor working with students interested in becoming a physician, dentist, pharmacist, physical or occupational therapist, physician assistant, optometrist, or dental hygienist. |
