Other Information:
Eric is an Associate Professor of History in
the Social Science Division and received his PhD from
Northeastern University in 2001. He approaches history with
a wide angle lens, looking at problems which require that
the entire world be used as the unit of historical analysis.
He also focuses on helping students develop the skills to
utilize the past to better understand the present. Some of
his current areas of research/interest include:
Globalization & the Inland Northwest, Imperialism,
Intellectual History, and the independent media movement. |
