Frequently Asked Questions

There is a password required for one of my tests; how do I take this exam?

If your test has a password requirement, you may need to have a proctor. Proctors oversee the exam to ensure academic honesty. Consult your syllabus for specific directions from your instructor regarding proctored exams.

The Distance Learning office, located in Sam Glenn Complex room 212, is the proctor for students in Lewiston and the surrounding areas. There are also designated testing centers at outreach locations including, Coeur d’Alene, Grangeville, Lapwai, Orofino, and Plummer. If you are not near one of the testing centers, you have the opportunity to make arrangements for a proctor in your area.
