Is iTunes U password protected?

Not currently.  However, LCSC at iTunes U is currently a "private" institution.  This means people doing searches on iTunes U won't get results for LCSC courses.  The only way to get to videos at LCSC iTunes U is for the instructor to provide a link to students.  Once the link is made available, students could share it with other people.  Password protected or not, once a recording is downloaded from iTunes onto a student's computer or personal device, there's not much preventing that person from sharing the video.  Therefore, we don't recommend recording anything of a personal nature. However, we encourage you to view link sharing as free advertising for your courses and for LC!
