How do I edit my Camtasia Relay recording in Camtasia Studio?

If you want to edit a recording in Camtasia Studio, you will need to make the recording using the portable Camtasia Relay recorder on a flash drive.  (We recommend a minimum flash drive size of 8GB.) 

1. Open Camtasia Relay from the portable recorder.  

2. Make your recording.

3. When you stop the recording, your video will process and allow you to preview it.  Preview and trim as desired.

4. Click "Done" (The Done button replaces the "Submit" button)

5. Select SAVE to save the recording to your flash drive.

6. Open the "Camtasia Relay" folder on the flash drive.

7. Open the "Recordings" folder.

8. Locate the video file (.avi, .mov, etc. ) by date created

9. Import this video file into Camtasia Studio to edit the recording

10. Select "Camtasia Relay" from the "Produce" menu when you're done editing

11. Enter your Camtasia Relay ceredentials and select the iTunes profile to send the edited video to iTunes U
