Why didn't my video link copy from iTunes U into Blackboard?

Sometimes, when you "Copy Link" from iTunes U and try to paste it into Blackboard, nothing appears.  For whatever reason, the information on the iTunes U clipboard didn't carry over into Blackboard.  To remedy this, copy the link from iTunes U and paste it into a text document first (Word, Note Pad, Text Edit, etc).  Then, make a copy of the link from the text document.  This copy should paste into Blackboard.

If you're using Windows, you may need to paste the link into a web browser address bar first, then copy the link from the address bar before pasting it into Blackboard.
