Distance Learning Facts and Figures
The Distance Learning office at
Lewis-Clark State College has undergone a variety of
changes since the first online classes were taught in
the Spring of 1997. From less than 40 courses and under
200 students, the Distance Learning program has grown
significantly and now includes online, hybrid and
technology-enhanced courses and currently supports 70%
of the student population. Each semester, this figure
continues to grow as faculty and students discover the
benefits technology adds to the teaching and learning
experience.
