Syllabus
A syllabus is the document in which your instructor will outline how the class will be structured. Remember, your instructor took the time to create the syllabus, so you should take the time to read it carefully.
A syllabus will give you a better understanding of what to expect during the semester. Pay special attention to the instructors preferred method of contact should you have questions.

- Instructor info: name, office, office hours (online and offline), phone number, email address, personal introduction
- Course description
- Required textbook(s)
- Required technology
- Grading information
- Test proctor information
- Guidance on student expectations
- Outline of how students are expected to respond online
- Time guidelines for instructor responses

- ADA information/Disability statement
- College registration deadlines
- Plagiarism Policy/Notice
- Other classroom guidelines/expectations
