Creating a New Blackboard Course
This course takes you through course planning, creating content, building the course, fostering student engagement, assessing students, providing feedback and grades, and taking care of semester tasks. The course assists both an instructor who is creating a brand-new course, as well as one who just needs to brush up on some Blackboard tools. The course design process is guided by the Quality Matters standards for best practices in online course design.
Enhancing Face to Face with Blackboard
This course is targeted to instructors using Blackboard to post a syllabus, provide digital copies of documents, and use the online grade center to post student grades. All lecture courses (aka, Face to Face) have a Blackboard section. It is at an instructor's discretion whether or not to use the Blackboard course space for a lecture course.
Universal Design for Learning
This course provides detailed instructions for making accessible content for online courses and web delivery. Information includes how to make an accessible syllabus, how to caption videos, and how to check documents for formatting and color issues that affect accessibility.
