Application Process

After reviewing the eligibility criteria, if you feel that you are interested and would like to apply for certification, please follow these steps.

  1. Send a check for the application/manual.
  2. Include your current mailing address.
  3. Allow up to 30 days for receipt of the application/manual.

Each application/manual is registered to the individual that has purchased the manual. Do not copy this application/manual for another individual to use as an application.

Follow the instructions in your Application/Manual. If you have questions, please contact either the IBADCC office or your Regional Board Representative.

When your application is complete, mail it back to the IBADCC office. Your application will be reviewed by the Membership Committee at its next scheduled meeting. During the time your application is being reviewed, you should be studying the material identified for your level of certification testing. Upon approval of the committee, you will be notified of the date, location, testing time and test fees that are due.

Completed application must be postmarked by this date to be considered for the next testing period:

  • January 10th
  • July 10th

  • February 15th
  • August 15th
