As an elementary teacher candidate at LCSC, each student will complete the following phases:
- Phase I: Pre-Professional Studies (66 credits)
- Phase II: Professional Studies (30 credits)
- Phase III: Professional Internship (32 credits)
Phase III, Part 1: Professional Internship I
Coursework:
(Registration into these courses requires satisfactory completion of Phase II.)
- Internship in Instructional Design/Facilitation/Evaluation I (16)
- ED 426: Professional Internship in Education (K-8) I (7-14)
- ED 427: Professional Seminar: Issues in Education I (1)
- SE 428: Adaptive Teaching (K-8) I (1)

Phase III, Part 2: Professional Internship II
