Newspapers
Although we should be very careful not to project the present into the past
or vie versa, I can not overemphasize the importance for historians to make
an effort to understand the world we live in at the present moment. Current
events are not disconnected from the past, but it is not necessarily simple
to make the relevant connections. Remember to treat sources on current events
with the same critical eye that you treat historical sources. The more sources
you consult the better your understanding will be.
This is not intended to be a comprehesive listing, just a sampling to get you
started. Additionally, I have only included English Language papers below, which
represents only a small portion of the papers available online. If are serious
about learning more about the world around you, learn a foriegn language.
