Judy joined the Institute of Intensive English (IIE) in August 2016. She has taught middle school social studies and science, adult education, and English for university students for over ten years. Most recently, before coming to Lewis-Clark State College, she taught three years at universities in Ulaanbaater and Khovd, Mongolia as an English Language Fellow with Georgetown University and the U.S. State Department.

Ray Shi, IIE Faculty

Ray Shi

Ray joined the IIE in May 2015. Prior to teaching at the IIE, he has completed several interships and a practicum at the University of Idaho. Ray presented at the Portland TESOL 2014 conference on PreService Teachers Exploring TBLT in ESL Courses. Ray is from China where he studied technology and English, and is bilingual in Chinese/English.

Brittany Blackwill joined the IIE in September 2014. She taught English in South Korea from 2012-2014. Brittany speaks French, Spanish and some Korean.

Sandra Mullen, IIE Sr. Lab Monitor

Sandra joined the IIE in May 2014. She monitors the IIE Lab and assists students in our computer-assisted language learning (CALL) environment. Sandra previously worked in the college's writing lab with international students and teaches kickboxing at the college. She is also one of the teachers for Advanced Discussion at IIE and leads the Active Bodies & Conversation (ABC Group) activities.
