| Present: Leanne Parker, Victor White, Henrik Brosten, Diana Ames | |
| 1. | This committee’s work on the Employee Reactions to Administration (ERA) Survey has been completed and the issue has moved on to the next step. |
| Old Business | |
| 2. | A proposed policy by this committee concerning the Student Reaction to Instruction (SRI) Policy has been passed by the Senate. Leann Parker will check with Kathy Wilcox to see what the next step should be. There was then a discussion on the Likert scale used in the existing SRIs. The SRI Policy will be taken up again at the next meeting. |
| New Business | |
| 1. | Changing the policy concerning how students withdraw from classes was discussed. Some faculty members feel it is too easy for students to petition for withdrawal in order to improve their GPAs. Changing this policy will be taken up at the next meeting |
| 2. |
Members of the committee were asked to solicit suggestions from other faculty members in their area on what Faculty Affairs should work on this year. |
| The meeting was then adjourned. | |
| The next meeting will be on October 13, 2004 at 4:15 PM in room 300 of Spalding Hall. | |
