 Meeting began at 12:04 PM on April 18, 2005.

Old Business:
Minutes from March 21, 2005 were approved with no changes.

SRI/Course Evaluations:
New course evaluation format/forms were approved by a vote of the faculty Senate on April 15, 2005 and will be implemented in the spring or fall 2005 semester.

Comments concerning the newly revised course evaluations can be sent to the Faculty Affairs Committee. Leanne Parker will meet with Chet Herbst and Christine Pharr to discuss implementation timeline for the new course evaluations and acceptability of the revisions.

It was noted that someone should ask Chet Herbst to include a cover sheet or electronic announcement concerning the implementation date for the new evaluations.

Conversion process For Transfer Grades and Honors Calculations:
Admissions/Registrar and IT will meet and decide how to implement the transfer grade/credit conversion process. Leanne Parker will meet with Andy Hanson in order to make sure Andy and the Faculty Affairs Committee (FAC) will use the same wording regarding the grade calculation process. Implement new grade calculation process/policy for graduation of May 2007.

In the meantime, use the most recent FAC recommendations concerning changes to Honors calculation.
