The Faculty Senate
meeting held on 11/1 included guests President
Thomas, Provost Fernandez and VP Herbst. They
presented information
on the potential sites for the new
Nursing/Health Sciences building.
The President is asking for your email opinion
regarding the two sites
deemed the best options. They are either the
lawn north of Talkington
Hall or the lawn east of the Library. In a
separate email you will be sent
a schematic of the sites to help you see what
the building footprint
would look like on these areas. The two areas
are labeled C (lawn
north of Talkington) and E (lawn east of the
Library). The President
and executive committee must make a decision on
the site by next
Friday so would appreciate your input ASAP.
