The
snow and ice have made meeting and
committee work difficult – not
to mention student and class
responsibilities. Take care on the
roads.
Remember that there is a conference
phone that can be used in the SUB.
Some committees have taken advantage of
the phone by having out of
town members call in to a meeting. Talk
to Laura Wilson or Julie Crea if
you want to utilize the phone.
The
progress on the Nursing/Health Sciences
Building is moving along with
the full approval of the Permanent
Building Fund Advisory Council in Boise.
The Provost will give us an update at the
2/21 Senate meeting.
Our
spring enrollment is up 3.5%.
We
will soon see a grid from Kristy Roberts
and Jerry Hindberg detailing
the course management tools available
through LCmail. There will be no
student fee for LecW courses-those
courses in which faculty use the
course management features.
At
the 2/7 Senate meeting we discussed that
background checks will
be done on new hires. Susan will find
out more details.
