Senate Snapshot
9/28/07

• The Faculty Senate met yesterday, 9/27, for our scheduled meeting.
  Those minutes will be forthcoming
   
• The Faculty Senate Cabinet (senate chair, standing committee chairs,
  secretary) met this morning, 9/28, to look at issues and concerns
  relevant to the standing committees and the senate overall.
   
• All standing committees will be reviewing the constitution emailed to
  senators on 9/24. We will make changes to the constitution in one
  concerted effort. So, senators and members of standing committees
  should talk to the committee chairs about items needing clarification or
  changes to the constitution. The committee chairs will inform the senate
  of changes and Susan will compile the changes.
   
• The senate Cabinet discussed the format of our Senate meetings. We
  have some ideas regarding how to pace discussion, business and action
  items during the meetings. Susan will introduce some format changes at
  the next Senate meeting on 10/11.
