3. The following items were discussed at the first meeting. We should make a
   determination if the items merit further discussion or if we are ready to take a
   position:
    
   1. Appropriate faculty encouragement
   2. Response window for completing SCEs
   3. Alternate methods of collecting data and estimated cost
   4. Student self-evaluation
   5. Response format
   6. Instructor evaluation instrument content

4. Develop procedures for SCE:

a. administration
      b. use
      c. interpretation
      d. safeguards against misuse

4. Other business
    
5. Adjourn

The next meeting of the SCE Task Force will be 1:30-3:00, November 1 in the
Alumni Board Room.
