This scholarship is awarded by the Lewis-Clark
State College Division of Fine and Performing Arts. To be
eligible, students must demonstrate financial need and be active
participants in theatre and/or communications. Applicants must
submit a letter stating their participation in theatre or
communication, career plans and goals, and financial need status.
The amount of the award is 50% or 100% of full-time resident
tuition and fees and the number of awards is variable. The
deadline for applying is March 1. For more information, contact

This scholarship was created to help offset the education-related expenses of Lewis-Clark State College students involved in drama and athletics. Applicants must be classified as a full-time student, carrying 12 or more credits per semester, must have a minimum cululative GPA of 3.0 and demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid Office. Preference will be given to students who are drama or physical education majors in alternating years. In the years in which physical education majors are chosen for the scholarship, preference shall be given to those who are athletes playing on one of LCSC's sports teams. Awards may be renewed once to students who continue to meet the above criteria. There is one annual award. A separate application is required and must be submitted by March 1. This scholarship is designed to enhance and
invite participation in the Lewis-Clark State College Music
Department, which included musical groups such as concert choir,
vocal, jazz ensemble, chamber singers, jazz singers, jazz band,
and orchestra. The number of annual awards available ranges from
10 to 20 and the amount is $200. A separate application is
required and must be submitted by March 1. For more information,

This scholarship is awarded to students who are
involved in Fine and Performing Arts at Lewis-Clark State
College. Priority is given to students with intentions to pursue
a career in teacher education. To be eligible applicants must
have a GPA of 2.5 with a 3.0 in theatre courses, enroll for 12
credits, and be a sophomore. Preference will be given to students
involved in backstage work and performance work. There is one
annual award available and the deadline for applying is March 1.

indicating academic accomplishments, activities, and a personal

This scholarship is awarded to students who are involved in Fine and Performing Arts at Lewis-Clark State College. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5, be a junior, demonstrate capabilities in theatre, have theatre oriented career plans and demonstrate financial need. To apply, students should submit a formal letter of application indicating academic accomplishments, theatre activities, and other pertinent information to the Fine and Performing Arts Division. To be eligible for this award, students must be a
music minor and/or be someone who has demonstrated commitment to
the study of music as attested and recommended by the music
faculty. Applicants must be enrolled and participate in an LCSC
musical performance group. Applicants must be a full-time student
and cumulative GPA must be consistent with the minimum required
for admission and for progress toward his/her major. GPA shall be
a determinant consideration in the selection process and
applicants must demonstrate financial need as determined by the
Financial Aid Office. The amount of the award varies and it may
be renewed to students who continue to meet the above criteria.
