Math and Science Scholarships


Jimmy Guild Memorial Scholarship

The Jimmy Guild Memorial Scholarship is sponsored each year by Local #712 of the United Paperworkers International Union. Students must be enrolled full-time, majoring in mathematics, with interest in computer science and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0. Preference will be given to students graduating from local high schools and who are affiliated with a member of the United Paperworkers International Union Local 608/712. There is one annual award worth $1,000. A separate application is required and must be submitted by March 1. Kenneth E. Davis Foundation Conservation Scholarship

To be eligible for this scholarship applicants must be classified as a full-time student, carrying 12 or more credits per semester. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5. Applicants must be majoring in Environmental Field Biology or Environmental Field Geology. Preference shall be given to students who are current Foundation Scholars. There is one award available in the amount of $1.500. Deadline for application is March 1. For more information, contact the Financial Aid Office.
