These scholarships were established to acknowledge outstanding
Idaho high school seniors who have participated in The American
Legion of Idaho Boys and Girls State competition and who have
selected Lewis-Clark State College as their school of choice. A
separate application is required. Applications can be obtained
from The American Legion Department of Idaho. There are four
annual awards; 2 Boys state and 2 Girls state. The amount of the

This award is intended to recognize outstanding students who
transfer to Lewis-Clark State College from a community college or
other two year institution in Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. To
be eligible, students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25,
completed 14 credits, and enroll for at least 12 credits.
Applicants must submit an admission application and all
appropriate grade transcripts by March 1. The number of awards
available is variable, and range from $250 to $500. For more

To be eligible for this award students must be a high senior
with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and demonstrate community
involvement and leadership abilities. Recipients are nominated by
their high school counselors. Students must submit an admissions
application, 7th semester transcripts and ACT or SAT scores prior
to March 1. The number of annual awards is variable and worth

Ten Foundation Scholarships are awarded each year to
outstanding Idaho high school seniors who have demonstrated
exceptional academic achievement, community involvement and
leadership ability. These $1,500 awards are renewable for a total
of four consecutive years of attendance at Lewis-Clark State
College. Foundation scholars must register for and complete at
least 12 credits each semester, as well as maintaining a 3.5
semester grade point average. Students should apply for
admission, submit 7th semester transcripts and ACT or SAT scores

Presidential Scholarships are awarded to outstanding high
school seniors who have a cumulative GPA of 3.5. This $500
scholarship is renewable for a total of four consecutive years of
attendance at Lewis-Clark State College. Presidential Scholars
must maintain a 3.25 semester GPA, while completing 15 credits
each semester. To be considered for this award students must
apply for admission and submit 7th semester transcripts and ACT
or SAT scores by March 1. For more information, contact the

This $2,650 scholarship is awarded to outstanding Idaho high
school graduates on the basis of rank in graduating class, ACT
scores, and recommendations from high school officials. To be
eligible, students must intend to enroll in academic or
vocational programs at eligible Idaho postsecondary educational
institutions. Applications can be obtained from high school
counselors or by writing to the State of Idaho Scholarship
Program, State Board of Education, 650 W. State Street, Boise, ID
