I submitted my FAFSA...now what?

How do I know if my FAFSA was submitted correctly?

  • FAFSA will contact you via the email address you provided on your FAFSA.
  • LCSC will also contact you via your LCMail.  Be sure to check your email regularly.

What if I need to make corrections to my FAFSA?

  • Log into your FAFSA at https://fafsa.ed.gov using your FSA ID and password.
  • Click on “Make FAFSA Corrections.” 
  • When done making corrections, sign and submit your FAFSA.
  • If you are a dependent student, your parent will also need to sign the FAFSA after corrections are made.

Can I still get financial aid if I missed the March 1 Priority Deadline?

  • YES! You can submit your FAFSA anytime during the academic year.
  • March 1 is the Priority Deadline for the General Scholarship Application. 

When will I know what I am awarded from the FAFSA?

  • LCSC begins federal processing in December.
  • When your Award Letter is available you will be notified.
    • New students receive a postcard in the mail.
    • Current students receive an email via LCMail.
  • If you have received your notice go to I have my Award Letter...what does it mean?
