Athletic Scholarships

For scholarships requiring a General Application, first read the submission instructions relating to the version of application you are submitting (paper or electronic). General Applications, paper or electronic, must be submitted by the March 1 deadline. Only one General Application is required per student, be sure to include the checklist indicating the scholarships for which you would like to be considered.

For all other scholarships, instructions for applying will be noted or a separate application will be provided with the scholarship description.

Frank and Gladys Hopkins Endowed Scholarship          

To be eligible for this award, applicants must be classified as full-time, enrolled in 12 or more credits per semester, have a cumulative GPA consistent with the minimum required for admission and for progress toward his selected major and be participating on the LCSC baseball team. The minimum amount of this award is $1,000. A General Application is required and must be submitted by March 1.

Zach Hull Endowed Scholarship

To be eligible for this award, applicants must be pursing a degree in either Kinesiology or Education, be classified as full-time, enrolled in 12 or more credits per semester, be from Idaho, Washington, Oregon, or Montana and be actively participating on a collegiate team at Lewis-Clark State College, with preference going to a baseball player. Applicants must demonstrate financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. Students may reapply for this award as long as they continue to meet the above requirements. A General Application is required and must be submitted by March 1.

Gene and Virginia Leach Memorial Scholarship

To be eligible for this award, applicants must be classified as full-time, enrolled in 12 or more credits per semester and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.  Preference will either be given to a female student pursuing a degree in Education who is entering the Teacher Education Program or to students pursuing a degree in Physical Education. The scholarship shall alternate between Education and Physical Education majors. In the years in which Physical Education majors are chosen for the scholarship, preference will be given to those who are athletes playing on one of LCSC's sports teams. This scholarship, when awarded to a Physical Education major, shall be rotated between men's and women's programs, unless the coach of a specific sport does not feel they have an adequate recipient. Applicants must demonstrate financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. Awards are not renewable. A General Application is required and must be submitted by March 1.
