Business Scholarships

Be sure to first read the submission instructions relating to the version of the General Application you are submitting (paper or online). Only one General Application is required per student. If completing the paper version, be sure to include the checklist indicating the scholarships for which you would like to be considered.

General Applications, paper or online, must be submitted by the March 1 deadline.

All scholarships require a General Application, unless otherwise noted in the scholarship description. For scholarships requiring a separate application, it will be listed below the description.

TO BE ELIGIBLE, STUDENTS MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING BULLETED SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS.

ASSOCIATION FOR GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTANTS SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was established to support Lewis-Clark State College students studying accounting.

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Full-time, enrolled in 12 or more credits per semester
  • Pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a Managerial Accounting Emphasis
  • Demonstrate financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office

Banner Bank Business Scholarship     

  • Pursuing a degree in the Business Division
  • Have a class standing of junior or senior
  • Demonstrate financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office

The bus & Mary Ellen Durant Business Endowed scholarship

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Pursuing a degree within the Business Division
  • Be a graduate of Timberline High School or its successor in Clearwater County, Idaho
  • Demonstrate financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office

The Kaia Lynn Markwalter Endowed Scholarship  

This scholarship was established in memory of Kaia Lynn Markwalter who lost her life at a very young age from a heart defect. To honor her memory and to help others who have experienced similar circumstances, Kaia's family endowed a scholarship in her name.     

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Full-time student, enrolled in 12 or more credits per semester
  • Pursuing a degree within the Business Division
  • Non-traditional student
  • Preference:
    • Lewis-Clark State College student who has been directly impacted by congenital heart defects

The Mark and Cathy Poe Business Scholarship         

This scholarship was established in honor of Mark and Cathy Poe.

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • Full-time student, enrolled in 12 or more credits per semester
  • Pursuing a degree in Business
  • Demonstrate financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office

The Gerald Ramey Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established to honor the memory of Gerald Ramey who believed in the pursuit of knowledge for himself and everyone around him.

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Full-time student, enrolled in 12 or more credits per semester
  • Pursuing a degree within the Business Division
  • Non-traditional student
  • Demonstrate financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office

Syringa Bank Endowed Scholarship         

Syringa Bank’s principle objective is to assist in the success of local small businesses and individuals by promising to provide quality financial products and services in a friendly and personalized banking environment. In 2006, Syringa Bank opened its doors in Lewiston and quickly became involved in many philanthropic efforts within the Lewis-Clark Valley. One of those efforts involved starting a scholarship at Lewis-Clark State College to benefit Business students who show an interest in the banking business.

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Full-time student, enrolled in 12 or more credits per semester
  • Pursuing a degree within the Business Division
  • Demonstrate financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office
