Idaho State Board of Education Scholarships

The following scholarships are offered through the Idaho State Board of Education.

Idaho Opportunity Scholarship

Idaho Opportunity Scholarship for Adult Learners

This scholarship is offered to Idaho residents working towards their first undergraduate degree who have earned at least 24 postsecondary credits but have not attended a postsecondary institution within the last 24 months. GEAR UP 2 Scholarship

Idaho residents who are a graduating senior of an Idaho high school may be eligible for this award. Students must plan to enroll as a full-time student and be participating in GEAR UP. To find out more information and apply, visit:  https://boardofed.idaho.gov/scholarship_jump.asp

Idaho Govenor's Cup Scholarship

This scholarship is offered to Idaho residents that will graduate from an Idaho high school. Academic or Technical students enrolled full-time could be eligible. Students with a 2.8 cumulative GPA and who demonstrate high commitment to public service should apply. Armed Forces and Public Safety Officer Scholarship

The spouse or children of a full-time Idaho public safety officer that was killed in the line of duty while working for the state of Idaho or the spouse or children of an Idaho resident that has been classified by the federal government as a prisoner of war, missing in action, or killed in action or died of injuries or wounds sustained in any area of armed conflict in which the United States is a party could be eligible for a tuition waiver while attending an Idaho college. Tschudy Family Scholarship

Postsecondary Credit Scholarship

Graduating Idaho high school students with ten (10) or more postsecondary semester credits who have obtained a matching academic scholarship that is merit-based from a business or industry, or entitites representing business or industry may be eligible.
