For scholarships requiring a General
Application, first read the submission instructions relating to
the version of application you are submitting (paper or electronic).
General Applications, paper or electronic, must be
submitted by the March 1 deadline. Only one General Application
is required per student, be sure to include the checklist indicating the
scholarships for which you would like to be considered. The
General Application can be found at the bottom of the page.
For all other scholarships, instructions for
applying will be noted or a separate application will be provided with
the scholarship description.

Frank and Gladys Hopkins Endowed Scholarship
To be eligible for this award applicants must be
classified as a full-time student, be participating on the LCSC baseball
team, and have a cumulative GPA consistent with the minimum required for
admission and for progress toward his or her selected major. Minimum
annual award is $1000. A General Application is required and must be
submitted by March 1.
Zach Hull Endowed Scholarship
In order to receive this award, students must be
actively participating on a collegiate team at Lewis-Clark State
College, with preference going to a baseball player. The student
must be pursuing a degree in Kinesiology or Education and plan to
attend full-time. Award will go to a student from Idaho,
Washington, Oregon, or Montana who demonstrates financial need as
determined by the Financial Aid Office. Students may reapply for
the award as long as they continue to meet the above requirements.
A General Application is required and must be submitted by March 1.
Gene and Virginia Leach Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was
created to help offset the education-related expenses of
Lewis-Clark State College students involved in education or
athletics. Applicants must be classified as a full-time student,
carrying 12 or more credits per semester, must have a minimum
cumulative GPA of 3.0 and demonstrate financial need, as
determined by the Financial Aid Office. Preference will be given
to a female student who is enrolled in education, and who is
entering their student teaching program or preference will be
given to students who are physical education majors. The
scholarship shall alternate between the education program and
physical education majors. In the years in which physical
education majors are
chosen for the scholarship, preference shall be given to those
who are athletes playing on one of LCSC’s
sports teams. The scholarship, when awarded to a physical
education major, shall be rotated between men's and women's
programs, unless the coach of a specific sport does not feel
they have an adequate recipient. Awards are not renewable.
