Barton Family Memorial Scholarship
Foundation Scholarship
This scholarship was established to help students who
plan to enroll full-time at Lewis-Clark State College. Students must have
completed 26 credits at LCSC with a cumulative GPA of 3.0, be accepted into
the Education Division and an Idaho resident. Preference will be given to
students who demonstrate financial need as determined by the Financial Aid
Office. There is one annual award available
for $1000. A General Application is required and must be submitted by March
1.

Harry
Campbell Estate Endowed Scholarship for Education
Foundation Scholarship
The estate of Harry Campbell has
established this scholarship to offset the educationally related
expenses of a Lewis-Clark State College student. To be eligible the
student must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA, register for 12 or more credits,
and be accepted to the Education Division. This scholarship may be
renewed if recipient maintains the above criteria. A General
Application is required and must be submitted by March 1.

The Marvin DeLuga Memorial Scholarship
Foundation
Scholarship
The Marvin DeLuga Memorial Scholarship was created
based on the specific guidelines described in the will of Dr. DeLuga, a
former professor in the Education Division at LCSC. To be eligible a
student must be a full-time (12+ credits) student and maintain a cumulative
GPA of 2.5. The applicant must be accepted into either the elementary or
secondary education program. Preference will be given to students who
demonstrate financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. This
is a renewable scholarship provided the scholar maintains the minimum
criteria. A General Application is required and must be submitted by March
1.

The Michael and Phillip Duley Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Foundation
Scholarship
This scholarship was created for the purpose of
offsetting the educationally-related expenses of an upper division
Lewis-Clark State College education major, preparing for a career in
teaching. To be eligible for this award applicants must be classified
as a full-time student, carrying 12 or more credits each semester, have a
cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, be an upper division education major. The amount of the award is
variable and may be renewed to students who continue to meet the above
criteria. A General Application is required and must be submitted by
March 1.

Student Education Loan
Forgiveness Contract
This loan forgiveness program encourages Idaho students
to pursue teaching careers at an Idaho college or university and to work
in Idaho after graduating. To qualify, students must meet
all of the following criteria: 1)have ranked within
the top 15% of your graduating class or earned a cumulative GPA of 3.0
or higher, 2)enroll as a full-time student in an Idaho college or
university, pursuing a program of study toward an Idaho teaching
certificate, and 3)pursue a teaching career within the state of Idaho
for a minimum of two years. Students who receive this award have a
maximum of eight years to complete their education and work for two
years in Idaho as a teacher. If all terms of the contract are met,
the total amount of the Student Education Loans is forgiven.
Three new awards are available each year, equal to full-time resident
fees. A separate application is required and must be submitted by
March 1. Students must also provide their grade transcripts. For more information, contact

Kenneth R. and Mildred M. Hensley Scholarship
Foundation Scholarship
This scholarship was created for the purpose of
offsetting the educationally-related expenses of a Lewis-Clark State College
student. To be eligible, applicants must be majoring in education or
preparing for a career in teaching with a major in history or physical
education, be classified as a full time student carrying 12 or more credits
per semester and must have a cumulative GPA that meets current Division of
Education standards for admission to student teaching and in no way be less
than 2.5. Recipients shall
receive $150 fall semester renewable spring semester provided he/she is
making adequate progress. A General Application is required and must
be submitted by March 1.

Herbert Howe Perpetual Scholarship
Foundation Scholarship
The intent of this scholarship is to support aspiring
teachers attending LCSC. To be eligible for this award, applicants must have
a GPA of 3.30, be admitted to the Teacher Education Program, be enrolled for
12 credits and have completed at least 12 upper division education credits.
There are at least two annual awards of up to $1500.
A General Application is required and must be submitted by March 1.

Gene and Virginia Leach Memorial Scholarship
Foundation Scholarship
The scholarship was created to help offset the
education-related expenses of Lewis-Clark State College students involved in
drama or athletics. Applicants must be classified as a full-time student,
carrying 12 or more credits per semester, must have a minimum cumulative GPA
of 3.0 and demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid
Office. Preference will be given to students who are drama or physical
education majors in alternating years. In the years in which physical
education majors are chosen for the scholarship, preference shall be given
to those who are athletes playing on one of LCSC’s sports teams. Awards may
be renewed once to students who continue to meet the above criteria. There
is one annual award. A General Application is required and must be submitted
by March 1.

Francis Ernest Millay/Ruth Stark Millay Memorial Scholarship
Foundation Scholarship
The intent of this scholarship is to assist outstanding
students who have declared elementary education as a major at Lewis-Clark
State College. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and enroll for
12 or more credits. Applicants must be accepted into the education division
and be an Idaho resident. Preference will be given to students who
demonstrate financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office. The annual awards are variable. A
General Application is required and must be submitted by March 1.

Military Order of the Purple Heart
Foundation Scholarship
This scholarship is available on a competitive basis to
students committed to pursuing a career in special education. To be eligible
for this award, applicants must have a GPA of 3.25, be accepted to the
Teacher Education Program and be enrolled for 12 credits. There are
two to four annual awards of up to $1500. A General Application is required
and must be submitted by March 1.

The Bob Olson
Endowed Scholarship for Mullen High School/Shoshone County Students
Foundation Scholarship
This scholarship was created for the purposes
of offsetting the educationally-related expenses of a Lewis-Clark
State College student preferably from Mullan High School or Shoshone
County, Idaho. Preference will also be given to students majoring
in secondary education, have a 3.0 cumulative GPA, and be a
degree-seeking, full-time (12credit) student. This scholarship may be
renewed each semester as long as the student maintains a 3.0
cumulative GPA and completes 12 credits. A General Application
is required and must be submitted by March 1.

The Aletha Pabst Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Foundation Scholarship
This scholarship was established by the friends of
Aletha Pabst for the purpose of offsetting the educationally-related
expenses of Lewis-Clark State College students. To be eligible,
applicants must be majoring in education, have a cumulative GPA of 2.75, and
preference will be given to those with financial need, as determined by the
Financial Aid Office. The amount of the award is variable and may be
renewed to students who continue to meet the above criteria. A General
Application is required and must be submitted by March 1.

RENCI Scholarship
Foundation Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to a senior major in
Education who is going into their teaching internship. The recipient must be
classified as a full-time student, carrying 12 or more credits per semester,
have a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0, be a graduate of a high school in
the North Central Idaho region (Moscow to Riggins, border to border).
Preference will be given to a student demonstrating financial need as
determined by the Office of Financial Aid. The amount of the award is
variable. A General Application is required and must be submitted by March
1.

Dr. Milton L. Snyder and Dr. Dolores J. Gibbons Endowed Scholarship
Foundation Scholarship
To be eligible for this award, applicants must be
classified as a full-time student, carrying 12 or more credits each
semester. Preference shall be given to students who are graduates of
Lewiston High School. Graduates from Timberline High School may be
considered as a secondary preference. If in any year, there are not
qualified students from either of these schools, the scholarship may be
offered to students meeting the same criteria from other north Idaho public
high schools. Preference shall be given to students who have had substantial
involvement with extracurricular activities and community service. Extra
consideration shall be given to those who have been gainfully employed
during their high school years. GPA shall not be a qualifying factor, but it
must be consistent with the GPA required for admission and progress toward
the education major. Qualified recipients shall be planning to major in
education with the goal of pursuing careers as teachers or educational
administrators. Preference shall also be given to students with demonstrated
financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid Office. Awards are
renewable for students who continue to meet the above criteria. Minimum
annual award is $250. A General Application is required and must be
submitted by March 1.
