To check on your application for VA Education Benefits
contact the VA at 1-888-442-4551. Press 1 then 0 to get to a
counselor. To submit monthly verifications:
(for
chapters 30, 1606, and 1607)
- Go to
www.gibill.va.gov, and click on WAVE.
- Follow the instructions for logging in.
- To verify over the phone call
1-877-823-2378.
At the WAVE you can do the following:
- Check your benefit status
- See if your monthly certification has
processed
- Submit Direct Deposit information
- Report changes to your enrollment
NEW: You can now contact the VA via email
by setting up a questions and answers account. Go to:
www.gibill.va.gov
and click on, "Questions and Answers," link. Then click
on the tab labeled, "My Stuff," to set up a secure
account.
