Sacajawea Arduous Journey Bronze Sculpture

Sacajawea and observer

We invite you to become part of a wonderful project that will benefit the Lewis-Clark State College campus and Lewis-Clark community for generations to come.

Sculptor Carol A. Grende beautifully created this sculpture of Sacajawea entitled “Sacajawea Arduous Journey.”  This bronze sculpture truly serves as a  powerful symbol of peace and grace, giving warmth and hope to all who take a moment to gaze upon the fine workmanship and to consider all that her history envelops.

By supporting this heroic size monument at the entrance of the Sacajawea Hall, students, faculty, and friends will be greeted for decades to come by Sacajawea, one of the most peaceful, symbolic figures to ever visit our area.

This sculpture is a grand symbol in our community, with thousands of people seeing her each year.  Please consider a generous donation to this project.
