OGC Mission
The Office of Grants &
Contracts (OGC) supports the institution’s faculty and
staff in their pursuit and management of external
funding from grants and contracts; it serves as the
central coordination point and promotes the goals of the
institution in the pursuit, acquisition, and management
of external funds from public and private sources which
support LCSC’s mission, priorities and programs.
To fulfill this role, the OGC
is responsible for ensuring all grants that LCSC will
become the fiscal agent for have received official
approval from Central Administration and Institutional
areas impacted by the proposed project.
The
OGC does not provide assistance to students seeking
grant money for school. Please visit the
Financial Aid Office
for assistance.
The OGC is not affiliated
with the
Institutional
Development Grant Program.

Determine allowable/unallowable project costs based on

Monitor compliance with
all provisions of grants and sub-award contracts
Develop a campus culture supportive of sponsored
activities
Serve as the governmental
liaison officer to Federal Congressional staff
Advise on matters relating to legislation, regulations,
and policies pertaining to management of grants and
sub-award contracts
