Federal Appropriations

Every year the college has the opportunity to submit proposals to be considered for Federal Appropriation or Congressional Earmark funding.  The competition for federal funds is increasing each year.  Important keys for successful proposal (Appropriations Application for Fiscal Year 2010 - download a printable version):

bullet Specific to an agency need (Match the appropriate government agency with your project--this is essential.)
bullet Document the need (prove the need/problem exists,) and document the work you plan to do with timeline and budget details.
bullet Specifically explain the results you will accomplish with your project.
bullet Explain the direct benefits to Idaho and/or the nation.
bullet Show support for your project (outside the college.)
