NEWS

NEH Featured Project: Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month
The Beuk Aie Temple is highlighted in the National Endowment for the Humanities' Featured Project. Housed and maintained by the Center for Arts & History (CAH), the Beuk Aie Temple is part of a vast collection of Chinese-American artifacts from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The Temple Exhibition is currently undergoing a redesign, and is largely supported through grant funding. For more information, please visit the CAH website.

Executive Order #2011-03
This Executive Order recently signed by Governor Otter explicitly disallows pursuit or acceptance of Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) funds.  For more information please visit the Idaho Division of Financial Management website here.


Grant Approval
Agencies applying for Idaho state grants, contracts, or projects in amounts more than $25,000 that are not included in the current appropriation must have prior approval by the DFM.  For more information please visit the Idaho Division of Financial Management website here.


ARRA News
The reporting requirements under the Recovery Act cost $7,963 per award, according to one account.  The number was determined by survey participants providing "the number and cost associated with added staffing, reallocated staffing, and overtime of existing staff to comply with the various types of ARRA requirements".  For more information, please visit the Federal Grants News website.  The OGC can provide password and website access upon request.

OMB has directed federal agencies to expend Recovery Act funds by September 30, 2013.  Unexpended funds will be reclaimed otherwise.
