The State of Idaho is making Aflac's insurance policies available to you.  Aflac pays cash benefits directly to you (unless assigned), when you're sick or injured.  You can use the cash to help cover expenses that major medical does not - like mortgage, groceries, or whatever you need.  It's like a safety net for you and your family.

Fitness Center

Admission is granted without charge for all faculty and staff who have an active employee identification card.  All users are required to complete a Fitness Center Waiver Form, which can be found on Warrior Web as well as at the Fitness Center, prior to using the facility.

Idaho College Savings Plan (IDeal)

The Idaho College Savings Program (IDeal) is a state sponsored program to help families save for higher education expenses.  The money saved can be used at any accredited school in Idaho, public or private, or anywhere in the United States.

Idaho Legal Shield

Enrolling in the State of Idaho Legal Shield benefit (legal and identity theft protection) will provide you affordable access to the best legal and identity theft systems in the world.

LCSC Bookstore

Employees receive a 10% discount on items purchased at the bookstore (some limitations may apply).

Life Flight Network

Provides life saving transport to seriously ill or injured patients from the scene of an emergency or from one hospital to another.

Asotin County Aquatic Center:  Offers 100 individual day passes for the Natatorium for each month of the academic year for LCSC faculty/staff and students.

Bluewood:  Ski Bluewood offers a corporate discount on tickets for LCSC employees.  Discounts offered are $8 off on Thursdays; $6 off on Fridays; and $4 off on Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays.

Bryden Canyon Golf Course:  Faculty and staff can play 18 holes for $6 with a valid LCSC photo id card.  This offer does not include cart or club rental, nor can it be used for any tournaments, special events or any other time the management deems necessary.  They are also offering 10 free bucket of range balls each day to those with LCSC valid photo ID cards on a first-come first-serve basis.

Clearview Eye Clinic:  LCSC Employees and their Insured Dependents are eligible to receive FREE no-obligation LASIK screenings; $400/eye off blade-free LASIK; FREE skin care consultation, plus 15% off aesthetic services including injectables and laser hair removal; and 15% off hearing aids.  *Cannot be combined with any other discounts, offers or specials.

Microsoft Work at Home

Lewis-Clark State College has a contract with Microsoft that gives LCSC employees the right to use software for work-related purposes at home.  You are not licensed to use the software at home for personal purposes.  Work At Home (WAH) rights have been established for the following products:  Microsoft Office, Microsoft Vision, Microsoft Project, Visual Studio Pro, Microsoft Expressions Studio Web, Windows 7 operating system upgrade.  Note:  Office is available for Mac or PC, while all other software is only for the PC.  Please complete the Work At Home Agreement and bring to HRS to receive the software.  Software should be returned within 3 business days.  You can also download Office 365 at

Silverwood Theme Park

  • State of Idaho employees may purchase individual discounted tickets to Silverwood Theme Park.  Discounted tickets are available online only using promo code HEALTHYYOU.  You may be asked to show a State of Idaho ID upon entering the park.


LCSC employees can receive the following offers with TIAA Bank:

  • $150 cash bonus when you open your first Basic Checking Account and then initiate direct deposits totaling at least $1,000 within 90 days of account opening;
  • $300 cash bonus when you open your first Yield Pledge Money Market Account with a minimum opening deposit of $15K, and then maintain at least that minimum balance for the 90 days following account opening;
  • $750 closing cost credit when you refinance or puchase a home.

Tuition Benefits

Eligible employees and spouses may take courses offered by any Idaho 2 or 4-year public institution for a $20 registration fee and $5 per credit.  Contact the other institutions for more information.

Eligible dependents can receive a 50% reduction in current resident and nonresident LCSC tuition and fees.  No other fees are waived by this benefit.  Any applicable course, lab, and other fees will apply.  Only one dependent fee waiver for one child will be allowed per semester per family.

Note:  Each semester this benefit extends to the employee and spouse OR the employee and one dependent.
