Professional

I've worked at L.C.S.C. since 1985, when I started as a part-time coordinator in Continuing Education (now Extended Programs).  In 1989 I became a division secretary for both Social Sciences and Fine and Performing Arts.  In the Fall of 2002, Fine and Performing Arts and Literature and Languages merged, and became the Division of Humanities, where I am now a half-time secretary, responsible for creating and maintaining the division web site, along with other creative projects and secretarial duties.  I love what I'm doing as it challenges my skills, and I am constantly learning and growing.

Other Interests

Outside of work I am kept busy and entertained by my four, four-legged companions -- my dog and walking partner Dewey (a.k.a. The Dewster), and three cats (Whisper, Marble, and Poppet).  In my spare time I enjoy crafting (particularly tole painting) and reading (the mystery being my favorite genre).
