Spanish Minor

The Spanish minor provides an exciting blend of language, literature, and culture! Though most students complete the required 25 credits through the regular succession of Spanish courses from Elementary Spanish I through the 300/400 levels, some credits may be obtained by Advanced Placement and/or course challenge exams (SPAN 101 through SPAN 202). At all levels of Spanish instruction, emphasis is placed on building communication skills and developing greater cultural awareness and appreciation. The Spanish courses are designed to prepare students to enter a competitive workforce in which bilingual communication skills are becoming increasingly crucial. We invite you to explore a Spanish minor as a complement to any major program!
