LCSC Benefits

  • Employee Group Insurance Benefits - The State of Idaho is pleased to offer you a comprehensive and flexible benefit program designed to promote your health and personal welfare.  Please click here to learn more about medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, fsa, wellness and more!
  • Retirement - LCSC offers two orp plans for faculty and professional staff to choose between:  TIAA-CREF or VALIC.  Classified staff are automatically enrolled with PERSI.  We also offer supplemental retirement accounts (401k, 457 and 403b).  Please contact HRS for more information.
  • Leave - LCSC provides leave benefits to eligible employees in accordance with those leave benefits offered by the State of Idaho.
  • Additional Benefits - LCSC provides additional benefits to employees that include:
  • Retiree Group Insurance Benefits - The State of Idaho offers a comprehensive and flexible benefit program Retirees are also entitled to the Educational Privilege; Access to the Fitness Center; LCSC Faculty/Staff ID card; Email access will be converted to LC Warrior Mail; and Emeritus Faculty receive LCSC library privileges.  Basic Life Insurance premiums will continue to be paid by LCSC if you have completed at least 30 years of credited service or the sum of your age and years of credited service total at least 80.  When you reach 70 years of age, the benefit drops by 25% and at age 75, it drops by 50%.
