Administrative Assistant I
Lewis-Clark State College is looking for confident and
motivated candidates for the position of Administrative
Assistant I in the Region II Idaho Small Business
Development Center (SBDC). This position reports
to the director and supports a department that provides
a broad range of business services to local area small
businesses. The applicant must have good knowledge
of office software (specifically Microsoft Office) and
must have the aptitude to learn and apply a range of
computer programs (i.e. Center IC, Datatel, QuickBooks).
The incumbent has frequent contact with area small
businesses, other service providers as well as the
campus community and therefore must have excellent oral
and written communication skills.
This is a
classified position under the State of Idaho personnel
administration system and receives full state benefits,
including reduced fees for college classes. A

Key
Responsibilities:

Perform filing and other secretarial support for the
Region II Idaho SBDC.

Purchase supplies and equipment.

Assist with the coordination of training workshops.

Responsible for checking, updating and coordinating
all appointment books.

Coordinate schedules to ensure the office is covered
at all times.

Maintenance Craftsman, Senior
Lewis-Clark State
College has an opening for a full time maintenance
craftsman senior. This position requires performing
skilled trade duties in the operation, maintenance, and
repair of buildings and related facilities and systems;
perform related work.
Minimum qualifications: Good knowledge of general
building maintenance and HVAC control. Refrigeration
certification is required.
Experience: Performing skilled HVAC, plumbing,
electrical, and building maintenance repair; using and
maintaining tools and equipment normally associated with
HVAC, mechanics, plumbing, and electrical work; reading
blueprints and schematics.
Repetitive lifting of objects weighing up to 90 pounds
and climbing is also required. The job pay starts out at
$11.24 an hour plus health and retirement benefits.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience
and/or training in HVAC, construction and commercial
maintenance skills.
