Counseling services will be provided for a broad range of problem areas, including, but not limited to, job related stress, marital, emotional, family, physical, alcohol or drug related problems.

Pre-Approval Requirement

To pre-approve your mental health, substance abuse, and EAP benefits, call 1-877-427-2327.  Business Psychology Associates will:

  • process all claims submitted for approved care.

Eligibility

All benefit-eligible employees and their dependents are eligible for the EAP benefits (5 visits per plan year).

BPA offers a comprehensive and flexible array of benefits designed to meet the needs of the employer and their employees.  EAP addresses mental health issues, substance abuse, work/life issues, crisis assistance, CISD, management consultation, employee and supervisor training, health promotion workshops and DOT qualified assessment/treatment.

How do I access EAP services?

You or your dependent can schedule an EAP appointment by calling the BPA Hotline at 1-877-427-2327.  Referral by your supervisor is not required.  BPA will make every effort to match you or your dependent with the most appropriate local professional counselor.  Nether your agency nor your co-workers will have any knowledge of your request for assistance.

What will EAP services cost?

There is no cost for the 5 visits of screening, short term counseling or referral services available per eligible individual per plan year.
