The State of
Idaho has chosen Business Psychology Associates (BPA) to administer
a program which integrates mental health, substance abuse and EAP
services.
BPA offers up to five (5) sessions
with no co-payment under the EAP Benefit when Prior Authorization
has been obtained.
BPA will provide the full
range of EAP services, including problem assessment, intervention,
diagnosis, counseling, referral and follow-up. Counseling services
will be provided for a broad range of problem areas, including, but
not limited to, job related stress, marital, emotional, family,
physical, alcohol or drug related problems.
Pre-Approval Requirement
To pre-approve your mental health,
substance abuse, and EAP benefits, call 1-877-427-2327.
Business Psychology Associates will:
- verify medical necessity
- authorize the care
- help determine an appropriate
level of care
- help you choose a provider
most suited to your needs
- process all claims submitted
for approved care.
Eligibility
All
benefit-eligible employees and their dependents are eligible for
the EAP benefits (5 visits per plan year).

(EAP)
BPA offers a comprehensive and
flexible array of benefits designed to meet the needs of the
employer and their employees. EAP addresses mental health
issues, substance abuse, work/life issues, crisis assistance, CISD,
management consultation, employee and supervisor training, health
promotion workshops and DOT qualified assessment/treatment.
How do I access EAP services?
You or your dependent can schedule
an EAP appointment by calling the BPA Hotline at 1-877-427-2327.
Referral by your supervisor is not required. BPA will make
every effort to match you or your dependent with the most
appropriate local professional counselor. Nether your agency
nor your co-workers will have any knowledge of your request for
assistance.
What will EAP services cost?
There is no cost for the 5 visits
of screening, short term counseling or referral services available
per eligible individual per plan year.
