Direct Deposit
What is direct deposit?
Direct deposit is a safe and easy way to have your money deposited
directly into your checking or savings account. When you use
direct deposit, you allow the State of Idaho to electronically transfer
money into your bank account. All new employees at Lewis-Clark
State College are required to use direct deposit.
How do I begin using
direct deposit?
Bring in a voided check or form from your bank to Human Resource
Services.
Please note: New
direct deposits require a one-payroll cycle notification before the
actual direct deposit begins. You will receive at least one check
(possibly two) which will be mailed to your address after the direct deposit authorization form has been
submitted. This notification allows verification of your bank
number, account number, and account type. Changing direct deposit
accounts also requires a two-week notification.
Electronic Pay Stub
To view your pay stub on
line, go to
www.sco.idaho.gov
from any computer with internet access. Just enter the same username and
password that you would use for I-Time. Once logged in, click on
"Pay Stubs" on the right hand side and this will bring up all of your
pay stubs since you started direct deposit.
If you do not have a
username and password or cannot remember what it is, just call Human
Resource Services/Payroll at x.2204 and we can request one for you.
Paycheck Calculators
PaycheckCity.com brand
calculators offer unmatched features for paycheck modeling. These
Employee Self-Service personal finance paycheck calculators are
frequently used by employees to better manage their paychecks. Here are
a couple of links to access different calculators:
The Paycheck Calculator:
Here you may calculate your net pay or "take home pay".
Take home pay is what is left from your wages after withholdings for
taxes and deductions for benefits have been subtracted.
Form W-4 Assistant:
This tool will take you step by step through the process of filling out
a Form W-4. The W-4 form determines how much of your pay is
withheld to pay Federal, and in some cases, state and local taxes.
