Year or Semester Abroad in America

Many international students currently studying at a college or university in their home country wish to study in the USA for 1 semester or 1 year.

LCSC offers several semester or year options depending on the students’ English language level:

For students whose English language level is below the scores listed in Table 1, LCSC offers year or semester enrollment in the Institute of Intensive English

For students who meet the English language levels listed in Table 1, LCSC offers a one semester program that includes 4 advanced English classes and 1 college level class. This is LCSC’s Bridge program. After successful completion of this semester program, students are allowed to study full-time college classes based on their education level and interest. Each student in the Year/Semester Abroad in America program is provided an individual study plan and guidance from the International Student Advisor.

Students who meet the English language requirements listed in Table 2 can enroll in college classes based on their education level and interest. Each student in the Year/Semester Abroad in America program is provided an individual study plan and guidance from the International Student Advisor.
