Study Away
Whether you want to spend a summer, semester or year in another state or another country,
we have many volunteer options and academic programs for you! Please look through the options
shown on this page, and if you have any questions,
please contact the Study Away Coordinator: Dana Elliott.
Requirements
The study away programs are only available (some on a limited basis) for LCSC students who:
- Have a 2.75 GPA,
- Have completed at least 30 credits by the term abroad
- Will be a full-time student at LCSC in the semester previous to the term abroad.
Financial aid
This applies to programs listed below, except for Fulbright.
If a student chooses to participate in a program not on the list below,
they are individually responsible for all applications and transfer of credit back to LCSC,
and the student will NOT be eligible for federal financial aid through LCSC.
Scholarships
LCSC offers two scholarships for studying Spanish abroad.
The deadline for applications for Spring/Summer of the following year is the last business day in September.
The deadline for Fall applications is the last business day in March of the intended term abroad.
