IPRA Mission & Staff

Welcome to Institutional Planning, Research and Assessment


The mission of Institutional Planning, Research and Assessment (IPRA) is to provide high quality information which is both timely and easily accessible and to facilitate and enhance decision-making, strategic planning, and assessment at Lewis-Clark State College. The scope of the unit's responsibility embodies the college, state and federal agencies, and the general public.

The purpose of IPRA is to advance the overall mission of Lewis-Clark State College by providing evidence of accountability, improvement, and effectiveness. The IPRA unit supports Institutional Effectiveness and Student Learning at Lewis-Clark State College through the following activities:

  • Analysis of student and employee perceptions and engagement; Accountability reporting; Support for program review; Strategic Planning
  • Accreditation Initiatives; Analysis of enrollment and demographic trends; Evaluation and analysis of efforts to improve student learning
