How do I
forward my phone if I don't have a forward button?
Answer:
If you have an ash colored square telephone with only the
number pad and no programming buttons or have a cordless phone you can forward your phone
by doing the following:
1. Get dial tone (pick up the phone)
2. Press # key and 1.
3. Enter in the number to forward the phone to.
4. Hang the phone up.
To unforward the phone: Get dial tone and push #1.

How do I dial long distance from on campus?
Answer:
If you are dialing without
an authorization code:
Dial 9,1, then area code and number
If you are dialing with an
authorization code:
Dial Authorization Code, 9, 1, then
area code and number.
International Calls:
Press 9, 011, then country code, and city
code + number
ex: 9-011-81-XXXXXXXXX
(the city code is part of the main # ex: 743-1234, 743 is the city code)

Yes, it can ring either 4, 6, or 8 times before being
forwarded to voice mail. Contact the
IT Helpdesk

this set up.
