Tangled Cord

To prevent your handset cord from looking like this:

Conference Key

Step 1:

Call the first attendee of the conference

Step 2:

Press the Conference key

Listen for dial tone and dial the extension of the second attendee.

After the second attendee answers then press the conference key again and all attendees should be connected.

Note:  If the second attendee doesn’t answer

            Hang up, lift handset and press the conference key


Here is a list of local Prefixes to which there is no need to dial the area code. For example you don’t need to dial 208 or 509 for the following phone numbers.

Idaho (208)

298, 299, 305, 413, 503, 553, 621, 717, 743, 746, 748, 750, 791, 792, 798, 799, 816, 836, 843, 848

Washington (509)

243, 254, 256, 295, 552, 751, 758, 769, 780

International Call

From the USA/Canada:

  • For calls to most countries dial the following: 9 + 011 + country code + phone number
  • For calls to countries within the North American Numbering Plan dial: 9 + 1 + area code + 7 digit local number, same as dialing a US state to state call (note that you will incur international charges)

From any country to any country:

  • Dial: 9 + your country's exit code + destination country code + phone number
