| Creating a live video
program--whether the purpose of the program is to be taped or transmitted live--is a
complex craft involving coordinating technical expertise, photographic principles, and a
keen sense of timing. It also requires coordinating of the talents of cast and crew to
reach an audience. The control panel consists of a character generator, monitors, and audio controls. From Master Control, the Director and Technical Director operate the main controls while giving direction to three camera operators, a floor director, and an audio engineer. Through this process these professionals produce high-quality video materials. |
