Classes are open to children who are between the ages of six and fifteen by June 6, 2014.
Instructors for Kids' College are individuals from the region who have an expertise in their topic area(s) and who are interested in teaching youth. To ensure your child is secure in our care, instructors and staff members must successfully complete a background check.
Financial Aid is available. Please complete a scholarship form and return it to Summer School & Special Programs no later than June 6, 2014.

You will receive confirmation via phone, mail or email prior to the start of the course, letting you know the location, drop off procedures and times.
No, there is no requirement for you to sign up for a full day of courses within a session of for you to sign up for more than one session. Each class stands alone, so you can sign your child up for as many or few classes as you like. Kids' College does ask that you please drop off and pickup children within the designated time frame specified in the drop-off and pick-up procedures.
For the safety of all children, you must accompany your child to the Student Union Building (SUB) no more than 15 minutes prior to class check in with the Kids' College Coordinator. Children should not be dropped off without being properly checked in. There will be no type of supervision available if you drop your child off prior to 7:45 a.m. Parents should pick up children within 5 minutes of your child's scheduled class end time, in person, in the SUB. Students must be checked out with the Kids' College Coordinator prior to leaving. There will be no type of supervision available after 4:45 p.m. so please arrive on time. If you have special circumstances please contact the Kids' College office at (208) 792-2860 or (208) 792-2207. Should you arrange for someone else to pick up your child or release your child to walk home, you MUST provide Kids' College with a note. Children WILL NOT be released to anyone but a parent/ guardian unless it is pre-approved by a parent.
Please keep in mind, that staffing is limited to active courses. Please help us ensure the best care is provided to all program attendees by adhering to the pick-up and drop-off procedures.
Kids' College provides a supervised lunch period for children who attend courses immediately before or after lunchtime. Please check your child's schedule to see if their class qualifies. Lunches are not provided, so please send your child with a sack lunch or money to purchase a lunch combo on campus. Please be sure to send your child with the correct amount of money ($5 is usually sufficient) as Kids' College cannot be responsible for any shortages. Supervised games and activities will be available to those who finish their lunch early. Parents are always welcome to join their children for lunch.
You may cancel registration for a full refund up to two weeks prior to the class start date. After the 2 weeks, you may transfer to another class or receive full credit to put towards a future class. Refunds done within 2 weeks of the class start date will result in a $10 administrative fee. Please note that refunds can take several weeks to process. No refunds will be issued after the start day of a course. If your child needs to miss a day within the session, there will be no cost adjustments. Classes may be cancelled in the case of low enrollment or instructor emergency. In the unforeseen event that this happens, you will be notified immediately and can arrange to transfer into another class, receive credit toward another session or receive a full refund. Refunds may take several weeks to process.
