Ruth Funabiki is head of technical services
at the University of Idaho Law Library and an adjunct instructor at Washington State’s
Murrow College of Communication. She is a long-time member of ILA,
a member of SPLAT and principal typist for Facebook’s Jolie Vandal.
She edited the “tagging” unit in SPLAT 101, and she loves to
demonstrate tips and tricks using DEL.ICIO.US.

Historical Photographs Deborah Green is the Digital Initiatives Librarian in the
Special Collections & Archives department at the University of Idaho. She holds
a MLIS from the University of South Carolina, and a BA in English from
Washington State University.
Deborah worked concurrently on her MLIS and in the
Digital Collections department at the University of South
Carolina where she created metadata and digitized various types of
collections from various departments and libraries on campus.
Laura
Guedes
has a Masters Degree in Information Science from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro-UFRJ and a Bachelors
degree in Museum Studies from the University of Rio de Janeiro-UNIRIO.
She gained experience in processing sound recordings and
photographs as an archivist at the National Archives of Brazil, where
she worked for fourteen years, eight of those years as a cataloger at the
department of Audiovisual Collections of that institution.
Laura is an Archival Assistant at the department of Special
Collections and Archives of the University of Idaho Library. In
that position she has processed manuscripts and archives, including materials of
the International Jazz Collections. Currently she is arranging
and describing artifacts and photographs of the Lionel Hampton Library
Collection, at the same time creating metadata to CONTENTdm.

Michael Greenlee is head of
public services at the University of Idaho Law Library.
Michael was chair of the ILA Intellectual Freedom committee from 2003-2008 and has presented at previous ILA conferences
on the topics of censorship and material challenges, the
USA PATRIOT Act, and legal research. When he is not
working at the law library, Michael teaches tai chi and
yoga through the UI Wellness program.

Tim is a retired archaeologist
who has been a museum director, VP of a film company, and president of Unitrex, which ran
archaeological expeditions all over the world. He has served on many boards
for various organizations including the Latah County Library
Board, Friends of the Moscow Library, Idaho Library Association Board,
Latah County Library Foundation Board, and the Idaho Commission for
Libraries Advisory Board. He is a digital technology enthusiast and
has published hundreds of articles on the subject. Internet
marketing, Web 2.0, and social networking are his current passions
along with blogging on a variety of subjects.

Robert
Perret is a Reference/Instruction Librarian at the
University of Idaho. He earned a BS in Journalism from the University of
Colorado and a MLS from the University of Denver. Robert and his
wife enjoy exploring the palouse and experimenting with homemade pizza.
Nancy J. Young began her
current position as Reference/Instruction Librarian/Associate Professor at the University of Idaho
Library in 1998 and has served as Interim Reference Coordinator since
2007. She has worked at a number of academic libraries (including the
Hotel Administration Library at Cornell University and the law
libraries at the University of Southern California and UCLA) in both
technical and public services. She holds an MLS degree from the University
of Wisconsin--Madison and a JD degree from the University of
California-Berkeley. |

As Networking
Consultant at the Idaho Commission for Libraries, Gina Persichini focuses on resource
sharing and developing statewide library programs. She
coordinates Libraries Linking Idaho (LiLI), a
collaborative web-based program of the Idaho library
community and the Idaho Commission for Libraries.
Gina serves as a member of the
Board of the Idaho Library Association and as Idaho’s
Chapter Councilor to ALA. In addition to ALA
Council duties, Gina is a member of ASCLA’s Interlibrary
Cooperation and Networking section, RUSA
STARS, and the ALA Chapter Relations Committee. She has
served on the Rethinking Resource
Sharing initiative Steering Committee since its origination,
and is currently the Chair of the Rethinking
Resource Sharing Policies Committee, which is jointly housed
within the initiative and RUSA STARS. |

Darin Saul is the
Sustainability Coordinator at University of Idaho and Director of the UI Sustainability Center.
He has a Ph.D. in English and American Literature from Washington State University.
He has 15 years experience working on environmental and sustainability
projects in higher education, with non profits and in small business.
He grew up in Walla Walla, Washington and has lived in Pullman, Washington since
the early 1990s.
He enjoys
backpacking, fishing, skiing and attending his children’s
activities.

Jenny Semenza has been the head of Reference
and Instructional Services at Idaho State University for the past seven years. She
recently completed a sabbatical where she visited academic and public libraries
throughout the West. She is actively involved in the information
literacy program at ISU, particularly in the areas of web 2.0, social software,
business, law, and science. She is known for her energetic and enthusiastic
presentation style.
