Business Databases:
ABI/INFORM Global - Provides scholarly
and comprehensive coverage of business research topics. Search nearly
3000 worldwide business periodicals for in-depth coverage of business
and economic conditions, management techniques, theory, and practice of
business, advertising, marketing, economics, human resources, finance,
taxation, computers, and more. Expanded international coverage.
Includes The Wall Street Journal.
ABI/INFORM Dateline
- Provides hard-to-find local and regional business news coverage of
large corporations, privately held companies, local start-ups, executive
profiles, marketing, finance, and industry news. Provides access to
business information not typically found in national news sources.
Contains news and analysis, information on local markets, and more
gathered from major business tabloids, magazines, daily newspapers, wire
services, and city, state, and regional business publications.
ABI/INFORM Trade & Industry - Covers a
subsection of the ABI/Inform Global business periodicals with a trade or
industry focus. Provides users with the latest industry news, product
and competitive information, marketing trends, and a wide variety of
other topics. Contains publications on every major industry, including
finance, insurance, transportation, and construction.
Career and Technical Education - Articles

Snapshot Series - Snapdata International

ProQuest Central
- Includes articles from over 11,000 magazines and journals. Many,
but not all, provide the full-text of articles. Over 160 subjects areas

social sciences.
Research Library - A smaller collection
of periodicals than ProQuest Central. Covers a broad range of subjects
including arts, business, children, education, general interest, health,
humanities, international, law, military, multicultural, psychology,
sciences, social sciences, and women's interests.
ProQuest National Newspapers Premier -
Includes a balance of national and regional newspapers chosen for their
journalistic excellence and regional representation. All titles are
available in full text. Papers include national titles such as The New
York Times, The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post along with a
selection of titles from across the U.S. such as the South Florida Sun
Sentinel, Minneapolis Star Tribune, Denver Post, The Sacramento Bee plus
other important U.S. papers.
Google Scholar - A product from Google that provides citations to scholarly journals.
LCSC Library Catalog - provides information about the materials owned by the LCSC Library and other North Idaho Academic Libraries, including North Idaho College and the University of Idaho. Also has a link to WIN Libraries, so you can search Gonzaga, Whitworth, and VALNet Libraries.

It also provides links to other pages with tips on understanding your assignment, focusing your topic, etc. It was developed by the library at the University of Minnesota, so a few of its linked resources are not available to you. But we have many similar resources available to you on this campus.
